JAlbum is a great open source program, which generates pictures album, easy to use, but very powerful.
These albums can be accessed on your computer, CD or DVD, or online.
One of its best features is the ability of the user select "skins", to define the aspect of the album.
Skins are plugins that JAlbum use as a basis for the creation of the album.
These skins can be customized by the user to achieve some spectacular results.
Official site: http://jalbum.net/
I had develop several "skins" for JAlbum, some with special features:
- Online store
- Panoramic images
- Pictures frames
Tell me what you want (with details) and I will provide you with a budget that surely will be accessible...
All the skins, that I developed, need the
following folders to work correctly:The "2_resources-skins.jaskin" is
discontinued, if you use these new skins,
you have to replace that folders ...
These skins will automatically fetch the
resources of these folders, according to
the code of style sheets that are in the
"styles" folder.
They can exchange the approximately 60 style
sheets and other resources with each other
because they have many internal similarities...
[See styles]
They are prepared to use the "ShopCart",
a virtual store, fast and easy to install,
which allows selling the items you want.
The skins "1frame", "1frameSlideShow", "2OriginalSlideShow", "3frames", "4frameSlideShow" e "3versatil-index" are discontinued.
arteframe
Works with a 2 iframes system: thumbnails
in one frame, slides in the other. |
arteharmonia
This is the most appropriate skin to
use
with sophisticated styles. |
artepanorama
To present panoramic images. |
artetotal
To submit images with full screen size.
|
artevideo
With this skin simply capture a frame
(image)(s)
of the film(s); JAlbum does the rest
of the
work. |
The folder "styles" of each skin
contains the style sheets, from which it
created the appearance of all pages.
If you want to create new styles, save (save
as) one of these sheets with the appropriate
name for that style and then make the changes
you want, but keep the sheet structure, so
that everything works well.
Do not change the name of the wallpaper "backpaper.jpg.
If you like a certain style, but prefer other
buttons, other frames, or other backgrounds,
..., just substitute their names in the style
sheet, the code you need to change is at
the beginning of the style sheet:
Here's an example (the code that can be changed
is in green):
/* <% album.put("BUTTON_SET",
"blue"); %> */
/* <% album.put("BACKBAR_SET",
"azul_metal"); %> */
/* <% album.put("BORDER_SET",
"border_none"); %> */
/* <% album.put("BACKPAPER_SET_DARK",
"backpaper_d007.jpg"); %> */
/* <% album.put("BACKTHUMB_SET","diap4.gif"); %> */
/* <% album.put("BACKFOLDER_SET",
"folder_book_black140.gif"); %> */
You can add your favorite images to the corresponding
folders: _backthumb-sets, _backfolder-sets,
_backpaper-sets /..., but respect the naming
...
You can add folders with your favorite images
to corresponding folders: _button-sets, _backbar-sets,
_border-sets.
Copy one of the folders, give it the appropriate
name, replace the images (atetion to their
size), but not to change their names ...
"border_none" is to be used when
we want that any frame appear around the
images.
The folder "Jalbum\ skins\_border-sets
have different frames that you can use (open
the index.html in the folder Jalbum\skins\_border-sets
\_borders_frames to view them).
To add your own frame, copy one of the folders
"border_ ... and replace the files without
changing their names, the" fill.gif
"is a square transparent image, used
to assign the "thickness" of the
Frame ...
